Dolls
by Marie Wilson
The Porcelain dolls on this page are created in 1/12th scale.  Their arms and legs are porcelain and are moveable  to several positions.  Their hair is viscose and their costumes , including shoes, are handemade with silk fabrics, silk ribbons, laces, embroideries and other notions the artist finds in her travels.

The Lady dolls' bodies and faces are from original molds by the artist, Marie J. Wilson.  Thier porcelain hands  and feet are from molds created by artists Dawn Adams and Sylvia Mobley.  Child doll is from a Doreen Sinnett mold. Costumes are created using original designs by Marie J. Wilson, as well as patterns from IGMA classes with Maria Jose Santos and patterns designed by Dana Burton of Minature Art.  Marie accepts custom orders as well as costume color changes when materials can be found to the customers specifications.

As it is with all hand-made creations, the dolls can be reproduced in simialar colors and trimmings but will not be exact to any other doll.  They each are original unto themselves and have varying expressions.
