Marie Antoinette with Birdcage
Marie Antoinette is a special piece created and auctioned at the IGMA school, and now exhibited at the Kentucky Gateway Museum. She is a triple artisan piece.
The doll is wearing a silk embroidered cream taffeta robe with a blue and antique lace underskirt and blue silk stomacher. She is wearing a hat with gold birdage and yellow canary, created specifically for this doll by Ursula Dyrbye-Skovsted, and has pink and cream feathers and silk paper flowers.
The Ivory cane is by Bill Robertson and is not included with the doll.
